Accused of embezzlement and money ex-interior minister of Egypt, has pleaded not guilty

Former Interior Minister Habib el-Egypt Adli said in court that he never took bribes, did not commit embezzlement from the treasury and not engaged in money laundering. As BBC reports, the trial of former minister began in Cairo on Saturday. El-Adly was arrested in mid-February, several days after the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak. Following a statement by the defendant the court decided to postpone the process until April 2. Protection of the ex-minister asked for a delay to study the documents.
