In Yemen, the military opened fire on peaceful demonstrators

Yemeni armed forces opened fire on a Shiite, had organized anti-government protest in the north. In the town of Harf Sufian on a peaceful protest gathered thousands of people calling for political change and the elimination of corruption. As a result of dispersal of the rally killed at least two people, seven demonstrators were injured. Earlier similar rallies were held in the cities of Sana'a and Aden, reports BBC News. The demonstrators demanded the resignation of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who rules the country since 1978.
